About the role

You will create original storylines, character casts, settings, and tone tailored to casual games. Your writing will include concise dialogue, scene/cutscene scripts, quest and item text, and descriptions that support in-game goals. You’ll collaborate in remote brainstorms, communicate clearly across disciplines, and iterate based on playtests and feedback to keep content aligned with player needs and casual-market trends.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Concept & worldbuilding: Develop storylines, characters, settings, and tone for casual games.
  • Writing: Produce concise dialogue and scene/cutscene scripts that support game goals.
  • Gameplay alignment: Partner with game design to weave story into core loops.
  • Documentation: Deliver light, usable docs (story bible, style/voice guidelines, chapter/episode outlines) to keep teams aligned.
  • Collaboration: Participate in remote brainstorms; communicate clearly with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Iteration: Refine content based on playtests and team feedback.
  • Market awareness: Stay current on casual trends to keep tone and themes relevant.

Requirements

About you

  • Demonstrable narrative design experience in games, with a portfolio of relevant games.

  • Solid understanding of how narrative supports game design and accessibility for broad audiences.

  • 7+ years in production or project management for casual or F2P games (HTML5 or mobile preferred).

  • Deep familiarity with Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Strong command of Jira and modern project management tools.

About the role  

As a Senior Game Designer, you will be responsible for the entire systems and LiveOps lifecycle. This includes designing new casual free-to-play games for desktop, tablets, and mobile, from initial concept through all stages of the product lifecycle. You will design and balance core loops, progression, rewards and game economy, then extend them through LiveOps: in‑game events, content drops, experiments and monetization changes that address KPI opportunities, lift retention and grow both IAP and ad revenue. Armed with analytical tools, you will translate insights into actions, weigh impact versus effort, and continuously iterate to keep our games fresh and competitive. Working side‑by‑side with developers, artists, QA and marketing in an agile environment, you will articulate strategy and results to stakeholders at every level, ensuring smooth execution. At the same time you will coach and inspire other game designers, fostering a culture of creativity, data‑driven decision‑making and constant improvement across the team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Define and maintain the systems design for core loops, progression, rewards and economy (sources/sinks, pacing, difficulty), ensuring they align with player needs and business goals
  • Build and evolve a LiveOps strategy and content roadmap (events, seasonal mechanics, IAP offers and ad-driven promos) that drives engagement and revenue
  • Design and implement in-game experiments (A/B tests, event variations) and use the results to inform design decisions; iterate so each update measurably improves retention and monetization
  • Specify clear, developer-ready design documents and balancing sheets; be the single source of truth for feature scope, rationale and success metrics
  • Stay on top of casual F2P market trends and top-grossing competitors; pitch new content, meta features or mechanics (e.g., collections, passes, streaks, time-limited challenges) that fit our audience
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team (design, engineering, art, QA, marketing) to deliver features and LiveOps smoothly; participate in agile rituals to align with development cycles and product goals
  • Present product vision, LiveOps plans and post-event analyses; communicate the “why” behind your strategy with data and research to secure buy-in from internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Mentor other game designers and raise team craft through feedback and reviews

Requirements

About You

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Senior Game Designer within the mobile or web F2P industry, with hands-on systems/economy and LiveOps experience
  • Deep familiarity with top-grossing casual games and F2P mechanics; you know what keeps players returning and spending, and can anticipate shifts in player behavior or monetization patterns
  • Ability to translate complex data and KPIs into actionable design changes and clear roadmaps, balancing player enjoyment with business objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English; concise specs and clear presentation skills
  • Proven experience in cross-functional teams; you integrate creative, technical and commercial perspectives into a cohesive product direction
  • Experience in mentorship or leadership, fostering designer growth, and promoting a positive, solution-oriented approach.

About the role  

As a QA Engineer at CoolGames, you take responsibility for delivering high quality products. Your teamwork will be fundamental to the success of the products you work on. During a workday you might be testing, building and maintaining automated tests to speed up regression,  reviewing requirements, drafting test cases or collaborating with teammates to figure out tricky bugs among other things.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Testing games manually (black box testing);
  • Identify and track project issues;
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing suites using tools like Playwright;
  • Pay attention to user experience, gameplay mechanics, graphics, and audio elements to ensure a seamless gaming experience;
  • Participate in the planning and execution of QA activities throughout all phases of the sprint lifecycle;
  • Reviewing and analyzing game design documents and functional specifications;
  • Creating test documentation (traceability matrix, test cases, checklists, test reports);
  • Facilitating smooth releases and collaboration with a team;
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve quality and game experience.

Requirements

About you

You like to troubleshoot technical problems and try to get to the root of why weird error messages come up. You are proactive and used to taking ownership and responsibility. You are not afraid of information analysis. You see yourself as a good team player.

  • Good written and verbal communications skills in English – ability to describe identified issues in a clear and concise manner;
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in software testing (gamedev is a strong plus);
  • A methodical, scientific and analytical mindset;
  • Hands-on test automation experience: ability to write, review, and debug end-to-end automated tests;
  • Proficiency with at least one modern programming language with a preference for JavaScript/TypeScript;
  • Familiarity with Playwright/Cypress/WebdriverIO or another web test automation tool;
  •  Experience with version control and CI integration (Jenkins/GitHub/GitLab);
  • Expert in Test Design techniques and their applicability on practice;
  • Knowledgeable about SDLC and STLC;
  • Strong Knowledge about Testing types and their applicability;
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, processes and tools;
  • Experience with multiple platforms (mobile, desktop, web, social platforms);
  • Experience with Jira or similar software;
  • Experience with TestRail or similar software;
  • Proven Flexibility to adapt to changes in project requirements 
  • Work your shifts (mostly) in concurrence with the rest of the team to ensure smooth collaboration.
